Jaume: "I don't understand it; a decision like that penalises you a lot"
One of the club captains and vital in Valencia CF reaching the quarter finals of the Copa del Rey, Jaume Doménech was critical of the move that led to the team failing to reach the semifinals.

"I don't understand it, because a decision like that penalises you a lot in the final minute. Things have to be done in the best way possible, and that penalised us a lot. We were very excited about this competition, we've been knocked out and we're hurt," he told VCF Media after the game.

"I think that these situations need to be reviewed, because in the end they cost you progress in the cup or points in LaLiga," he continued. "We have to focus on the sporting side and pick ourselves back up, because on Saturday we have to go to Getafe and win."

As for another incident in which VAR was not consulted, an exasperated Jaume commented that "I don't understand it; I really don't. In the interest of fairness, they should have gone to look at it, just like they did with the one against us."
